I am new the rewrite rules. when i see in windows 2008 R2, rewrite module is already installed in iis. I want to add rewrite rule for URL like
http://www.website.com/women/dresses/lawn.asp?Designer=Crescent to look like
http://www.website.com/women/dresses/lawn/Crescent
and for paging
http://www.website.com/women/dresses/lawn/Crescent/1
Will there be a 301 redirect for this rule for google etc.?
Secondly how can I remove the trailing .asp from pages. For example, website.com/about.asp to look like website.com/about
